The sample group consisted of 537 participants recruited by the purposive sampling method using inclusion criteria. Data were collected using a questionnaire,which consists of personal information and a food consumption behavior questionnaire.<br>Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Chi-square test. Results indicated that the food consumption behaviors between adults and older persons were significantly different. The older persons presented a good level of food consumption behaviors,which was higher than the adult counterparts. However, the BMI between the two groups was not significantly different. This study result suggests that healthcare workers design screening guidelines and assess nutritional status to develop plans for promotion of healthy food consumption behaviors, nutritional status, and restoration among adults and older persons to achieve good health.<br>Keywords: Food consumption behavior, Nutritional status, Adult, Older persons</p>}, number={2}, journal={Nursing Research and Innovation Journal}, author={Srisomthrong, Kannika and Petsirasan, Rewwadee and Noonil, Naiyana}, year={2021}, month={Aug.}, pages={232–246} }
