The research tools were&nbsp; a questionnaire on personal data, <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">&nbsp;</span>family member functioning on&nbsp; psychological care&nbsp; for the elderly, and economic self-reliance.&nbsp; and&nbsp; 2) Thai Geriatric Mental Health Assessment (T-GMHA-56). The &nbsp;Cronbach's alpha coefficients of research tools were 0.98, 0.92 and 0.90 &nbsp;respectively. &nbsp;Descriptive statistics and Pearson’s correlation were done in data analysis The results revealed &nbsp;as follows. 1) The mental health status of&nbsp; the elderly in transgenerational &nbsp;family in Ban Nong Mak Fai, Watthana Nakhon &nbsp;District, &nbsp;Sa Kaeo &nbsp;Province, &nbsp;was at the level of general people (M = 178.48, &nbsp;SD = 2.98). &nbsp;2) Factors related to mental health status of the elderly in transgenrational family in Ban Nong Mak Fai community, &nbsp;were &nbsp;age ( r = 0.642), family member functioning on psychological care ( r = 0.569)&nbsp; and &nbsp;economic self-reliance ( r = 0.601) at p &lt; .05.</p> ER -
