The research instruments are smoking cessation program developed based on nursing practice guidelines on smoking cessation in workplace, the questionaires assessing nicotine dependence and smoking behaviors, and piCO<sup>™</sup>&nbsp;Smokerlyzer. The content validity of the instrument was examined by 3 experts. Participants were 93 employees who voluntary participated. They received the 1-day smoking cessation program and were followed up for 6 peroids at the 3<sup>rd</sup>day, 7<sup>th</sup> day, 14<sup>th</sup> day, the 1<sup>st</sup>, 2<sup>rd</sup> and 3<sup>rd</sup> month. &nbsp;Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired t-test. The findings showed that after intervention, the participants’ nicotine dependence, the number of cigarettes smoked, exhaled carbon monoxide were significantly decreased and intention to quit was increased from that before the intervention (p &lt; .01). Participants could successfully quit smoking 36.56 percent.</p> ER -
