The tool of this research was the quadriceps and hamstring muscle power supplemental training program, the IOC of which was found at 0.91. The research samples were thirty professional soccer players under Krabi Soccer Club. They were divided into two groups, each of which comprised fifteen professional soccer players. Both groups were trained 30 minutes a day, three days a week for eight weeks. The control group was trained with the traditional training program of the soccer club and the experimental group was trained with the traditional training program combined with the constructed supplemental training program. Kicking performance and leg muscle power were tested in pre - training and post - training in the eighth week. The data analysis was conducted in terms of mean, standard deviation and t - test.

          The results were found that in post-training kicking performance and leg muscle power in the experimental group were higher than that in the control group at the level of 0.05. Also, kicking performance and leg muscle power in both control and experimental groups in post - training were higher than that in pre-training at the level of 0.05. In conclusion, training with quadriceps and hamstring muscle power supplemental training program for eight weeks can develop professional soccer players’ kicking performance.
}, number={2}, journal={Academic Journal of Thailand National Sports University}, author={Kanchanapradit, Kanchana and Tongkampanit, Patcharee}, year={2022}, month={Apr.}, pages={41–54} }
