บทคัดย่อ

ภาวะทุพโภชนาการเป็นปัญหาที่พบบ่อยในผู้ป่วยโรคไตในผู้ใหญ่ แต่ถูกละเลยจากบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ ส่งผลกระทบในทางลบต่อการทำงานของไต การรักษาความเจ็บป่วยที่ไม่ได้ประสิทธิผล การนอนโรงพยาบาลที่นานมากขึ้น ดังนั้นการดูแลทางโภชนาการเริ่มตั้งแต่การคัดกรองและประเมินผู้ป่วยโรคไตในผู้ใหญ่ที่มีความเสี่ยงต่อภาวะทุพโภชนาการ รวมถึงการให้โภชนบำบัดที่เหมาะสมจะช่วยทำให้ผลการรักษาดีขึ้น ลดภาวะแทรกซ้อนและค่าใช้จ่ายในการรักษา สิ่งสำคัญยิ่งในการดูแลทางโภชนาการแก่ผู้ป่วยจะประสบความสำเร็จได้ต้องอาศัยการทำงานร่วมกันของทีมสหสาขาวิชาชีพ คำแนะนำแนวทางเวชปฏิบัติโภชนบำบัดสำหรับผู้ป่วยโรคไตในผู้ใหญ่ฉบับนี้จัดทำโดยความร่วมมือระหว่างสมาคมผู้ให้อาหารทางหลอดเลือดดําและทางเดินอาหารแห่งประเทศไทยและสมาคมโรคไตแห่งประเทศไทยโดยมีจุดประสงค์เพื่อให้แพทย์และบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ใช้เป็นแนวทางในการดูแลผู้ป่วยโรคไตในผู้ใหญ่ที่มีอายุตั้งแต่ 18 ปีขึ้นไปอย่างมีระบบ เป็นขั้นตอนและทันยุคสมัย โดยรวบรวมข้อมูลจากการศึกษาที่เกิดขึ้นใหม่อย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อเป็นประโยชน์ในการดูแลผู้ป่วยโรคไตผู้ใหญ่ที่มีความเสี่ยงต่อภาวะทุพโภชนาการเพื่อทำให้ผลการดูแลรักษาผู้ป่วยโรคไตผู้ใหญ่ในประเทศไทยมีประสิทธิผลที่ดีขึ้น
