Advance in medical technology progresses rapidly, also in the field of bone mineral density assessment, which helps in diagnosis of osteopenia and osteoporosis, a world wide health problem in the elderly.
This review article is about various methods in detecting bone mineral density. pros and cons. Problems and precautions in detection are discussed. In order to provide standard and impressive service to the patients and confiding results to physicians.
