Abstract

Various public disaster management in urban areas has limitation that may not be found in other communities such as adensity or population and a traffic jam during rust hour. Lack or awareness or public consciousness due to the rush or travel and overlook public problems because or the need to accelerate the management of personal problems cause a major obstacle to disaster management. Both in terms or reducing impact and preventing it from occurring, may also be overlooked or ignored. If the problem is solved as soon ass possible, the bad situation may not escalate. Therefore, the volunteer in any area is very necessary in society nowadays. However, training should be provided for volunteerism in order to provide information, knowledge and skills to mitigate preliminary disaster impacts which will greatly benefit in urban community.
