VL - 2 IS - 3 SE - Research Article DO - UR - https://he02.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/jnphr/article/view/259408 SP - 48-56 AB - <p>The objective of this survey study was to compare the mental health levels among patients with COVID-19 between during sickness and after sickness in Wang Yai Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital, Na Thawi Distict, Songkhia Province. Participants were 122 patients with COVID-19. Research instrument was the the Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale - 21 Items (DASS-21). The Coefficient alphas for the DASS-12 was 0.75. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics.</p><p>The results showed that after sickness, the levels of stress, anxiety, and depression among patients with COVID-19 in each item and total score were significantly lower than during sickness. Therefore, when having symptoms of COVID-19, healthcare providers should be advised patients to have relaxing activities. Moreover, the health personnel team should continuously monitor the patient's symptoms and, while after sickness, should arrange exercise and mental health promotion activities.</p> ER -
