Patient with incomplete investigations and loss follow—up were excluded from the study. All patient were confirmed cases of UTI by complete physical examination, urinary tract ultrasound and voiding cystourethrography (VCUG).</p><p><strong>Results :</strong> There were 71 UTI patients and 15 patient (no VCUG) were excluded. The most common presentation was fever (100%). The most causative agent was E. coli (82%). VUR was found in 8 (14%), 2 girls, and 6 boys. Other urinary tract abnormalities were neurogenic bladder in 1, urethral stenosis in 1, polycystic kidney in 1, hypoplasia kidney in 1, phimosis in 13 boys and labial adhesion in one girl.</p><p><strong>Conclusion :</strong> 14% of patients had VUR and 37.5% had other associated abnormalities in urinary tract. A complete physical examination and radiologic examination (urinary tract ultrasound and VCUG) must be routinely performed on all patient who diagnosed with UTI.</p> ER -
