บทคัดย่อ
บทความวิชาการนี้ มุ่งเสนอแนวความคิดเกี่ยวกับเมืองกีฬากับการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตโดยการนำแนวคิดคุณภาพชีวิต มาใช้ในการศึกษาวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล เป็นกรอบแนวคิดทฤษฎี การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลในครั้งนี้ ดำเนินการโดยการทบทวนวรรณกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องทั้งในต่างประเทศและต่างประเทศ เรื่องเมืองกีฬากับการพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิต โดยเนื้อหาครอบคลุมประเด็นดังนี้ (1) การส่งเสริมสุขภาพและการออกกำลังกาย (2) กีฬามวลชน (3) วิถีชีวิตของประชากร (4) เศรษฐกิจการกีฬา (5) ความก้าวหน้าของเทคโนโลยี ทั้งนี้เมืองกีฬาจะเกิดผลสัมฤทธิ์ขึ้นได้ ต้องได้รับการมีส่วนร่วมจากประชาชนในจังหวัด ภาครัฐ องค์กร ปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่นและภาคเอกชนเข้ามาเป็นตัวขับเคลื่อนให้เป็นเมืองกีฬาที่ยั่งยืน เมืองกีฬาจึงเป็นสถานที่สร้างเสริมความสุขของประชากรในสังคมได้ทุกเพศทุกวัยและมีส่วนในการเสริมสร้างเศรษฐกิจ พัฒนาความเจริญจากชุมชนไปสู่สังคม ส่งผลต่อคุณภาพชีวิตของเยาวชนและประชาชนให้มีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดี มีส่วนส่งผลต่อการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจของประเทศ
