บทคัดย่อ
การปฏิบัติที่ไม่เป็นธรรมของเอเย่นต์นักกีฬาฟุตบอลมักถูกระบุให้ถือเป็นการกระทำที่ฝ่าฝืนจริยธรรมและคุณลักษณะของผู้ประกอบอาชีพเอเย่นต์นักกีฬาฟุตบอล ในขณะที่การให้บริการของเอเย่นต์นักกีฬาฟุตบอลควรปฏิบัติอย่างเป็นธรรมและปฏิบัติด้วยความน่าเชื่อถือต่อลูกค้าที่มาใช้บริการตน กฎระเบียบของฟีฟ่าแต่เดิมก็ไม่ได้กำหนดให้ประเทศสมาชิกร่วมกันยับยั้งการปฏิบัติที่ไม่เป็นธรรมของเอเย่นต์นักกีฬาฟุตบอลในทุกด้าน บทความฉบับนี้จึงมุ่งศึกษาระเบียบว่าด้วยเอเย่นต์นักกีฬาฟุตบอลของฟีฟ่า (หรือระเบียบ FFAR) และอภิปรายการปฏิรูประเบียบ FFAR ที่ผ่านมาของฟีฟ่า บทความฉบับนี้ยังมุ่งอภิปรายการวางมาตรฐานจริยธรรมการประกอบอาชีพเอเย่นต์นักกีฬาฟุตบอลของฟีฟ่าตามระเบียบ FFAR และการปรับใช้เกณฑ์มาตรฐานเช่นว่านี้เพื่อให้เอเย่นต์นักกีฬาฟุตบอลปฏิบัติเยี่ยงผู้ประกอบอาชีพและมีความเป็นมืออาชีพในอุตสาหกรรมกีฬาฟุตบอลสากล อีกทั้งยังมุ่งวิเคราะห์บทบาทของกลไกในการกำกับดูแลและวินิจฉัยสั่งการของฟีฟ่าในอุตสาหกรรมกีฬาฟุตบอลสากลที่ก่อร่างสร้างมาตรฐานที่มีผลผูกพันให้บรรดาสมาคมกีฬาฟุตบอลระดับชาติที่เป็นสมาชิกของฟีฟ่าต้องปฏิบัติตาม พร้อมวิเคราะห์การกำหนดมาตรฐานจรรยาบรรณ การปฏิบัติงานและจริยธรรมของผู้ประกอบอาชีพเอเย่นต์นักกีฬาฟุตบอลภายใต้ระเบียบฉบับนี้
