ผลของการฝึกสปีดแลดเดอร์ที่มีต่อการทรงตัวและสมรรถภาพทางกายด้านต่างๆในผู้สูงอายุ

บทคัดย่อ

วัตถุประสงค์
เพื่อศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบผลของการฝึกสปีดแลดเดอร์อันส่งผลต่อการทรงตัวและสมรรถภาพทางกายในผู้สูงอายุ


วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย
กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุที่มีสุขภาพแข็งแรง จำนวน 36 คน อายุเฉลี่ย 63.94±2.90 ปี แบ่งออก เป็น 2 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ กลุ่มฝึกสปีดแลดเดอร์จำนวน 18 คน (ชาย 1 คน) และกลุ่มควบคุมจำนวน 18 คน (ชาย 1 คน) โดยการสุ่มแบบแบ่งชั้น ตามช่วงอายุ เพศ และเวลาในก้าวเท้าเป็นสี่เหลี่ยม กลุ่มฝึกสปีดแลดเดอร์ทำการฝึก 3 วันต่อสัปดาห์ ใช้ระยะเวลาฝึก 40-50 นาทีต่อครั้ง เป็นระยะเวลา 8 สัปดาห์ และกลุ่มควบคุมให้ดำเนินชีวิตประจำวันตามปกติ ทดสอบตัวแปร ทางสรีรวิทยาทั่วไป องค์ประกอบของร่างกาย ความสามารถทางแอโรบิก ความแข็งแรงและทนทานของกล้ามเนื้อ ความยืดหยุ่นของกล้ามเนื้อ และการทรงตัว ใช้การวิเคราะห์เปรียบเทียบค่าเฉลี่ยของตัวแปรต่างๆ ระหว่างกลุ่มที่ฝึกสปีดแลดเดอร์ และกลุ่มควบคุม เปรียบเทียบระหว่างก่อนและหลังการฝึกของแต่ละกลุ่ม ใช้การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนแบบผสม (Mixed model ANOVA measurement) และทำการเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของค่าเฉลี่ยเป็นรายคู่ โดยใช้วิธีทดสอบของฟิชเชอร์ ที่ระดับความมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05


ผลการวิจัย
หลังการทดลอง 8 สัปดาห์ กลุ่มฝึกสปีดแลดเดอร์มีการพัฒนาความสามารถทางแอโรบิก (122.72±17.91 ครั้ง, p<0.001) ความแข็งแรงและทนทานของกล้ามเนื้อรยางค์ล่าง (23.67±3.41 ครั้ง, p<0.001) และการทรงตัวขณะเคลื่อนไหว (4.98±0.49 วินาที, p=0.003) เพิ่มมากขึ้น และมีค่าตัวแปรต่างๆ ดีกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ รวมทั้งมีอัตราการเต้นของหัวใจ (73±7 ครั้งต่อนาที, p=0.026) ความดันโลหิตขณะหัวใจบีบตัวขณะพัก (114±14 มิลลิเมตรปรอท, p=0.016) และเปอร์เซ็นต์ไขมันในร่างกาย(35.26±5.32 เปอร์เซ็นต์, p=0.011) น้อยกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ นอกจากนี้กลุ่มฝึกสปีดแลดเดอร์ยังมีคะแนนความสนุกสนานของการออกกำลังกายเท่ากับ 4.79


สรุปผลการวิจัย
การฝึกสปีดแลดเดอร์สามารถนำมาประยุกต์ใช้ในผู้สูงอายุได้ โดยช่วยพัฒนาการทรงตัวและสมรรถภาพทางกายของผู้สูงอายุได้ รวมทั้งมีความสนุกสนานเป็นอย่างมาก ซึ่งจะส่งผลให้ผู้สูงอายุมีความรู้สึกอยากออกกำลังกายอย่างต่อเนื่องต่อไป
