การรำไทยในฐานะการออกกำลังกายเชิงวัฒนธรรมเพื่อการสูงวัยอย่างมีสุขภาวะในสังคมไทย

บทคัดย่อ
การเข้าสู่สังคมผู้สูงอายุของประเทศไทยส่งผลให้การส่งเสริมสุขภาพและการป้องกันภาวะเสื่อมถอยทั้งด้านร่างกายและจิตใจมีความสำคัญเพิ่มขึ้น การรำไทยซึ่งเป็นมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมที่มีลักษณะเป็นกิจกรรมทางกายแบบผสมผสาน สามารถประยุกต์ใช้เป็นรูปแบบการออกกำลังกายที่เหมาะสมสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ บทความนี้เป็นบทความปริทัศน์แบบบรรยาย (Narrative Review) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสังเคราะห์องค์ความรู้ นำเสนอแนวคิด บทบาท และหลักฐานเชิงประจักษ์ของการรำไทยในการส่งเสริมสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุ โดยสืบค้นเอกสารจากฐานข้อมูล PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar และ Thai-Journal Online system รวมถึงบทความวิชาการและเอกสารที่เกี่ยวข้องทั้งภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษ ระหว่างปี ค.ศ. 1998–2025 ครอบคลุมด้านสมรรถภาพทางกาย การทำงานของระบบหัวใจและหลอดเลือด การทำงานระบบทางเดินหายใจ การทำงานของสมอง และสุขภาวะทางจิตใจ ตลอดจนเสนอแนวทางการประยุกต์ใช้ในบริบทสังคมไทย ผลการทบทวนพบว่าการรำไทยเป็นกิจกรรมทางกายเชิงวัฒนธรรมที่ผสมผสานการเคลื่อนไหวของร่างกาย จังหวะดนตรี การเรียนรู้ลำดับท่ารำ และการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์ทางสังคม ส่งผลดีต่อสุขภาพหลายมิติ มีหลักฐานเชิงประจักษ์จากการศึกษาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการฝึกรำไทย พบว่า การฝึกรำไทย 6 สัปดาห์ สามารถช่วยเพิ่มสมรรถภาพทางกาย อัตราลดความเสี่ยงการหกล้มจาก 35% เหลือ 8% และการฝึกรำไทย 12 สัปดาห์ ส่งผลคะแนนการทรงตัว (Berg Balance Scale) เพิ่มจาก 52 เป็น 55 คะแนน ขณะที่เวลาในแบบทดสอบ Timed Up and Go ลดลงจาก 8.18 เป็น 6.26 วินาที รวมไปถึงส่งเสริมการทำงานด้านการรู้คิด (พุทธิปัญญา) และเพิ่มคุณภาพชีวิตในผู้สูงอายุได้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ดังนั้น การส่งเสริมการรำไทยจึงเป็นแนวทางที่มีศักยภาพในการพัฒนาสุขภาวะผู้สูงอายุอย่างยั่งยืนในสังคมไทย อย่างไรก็ตาม ควรมีการศึกษาวิจัยแบบสุ่มและมีกลุ่มควบคุมที่มีการติดตามผลระยะยาว เพื่อยืนยันประสิทธิผลและอธิบายกลไกทางสรีรวิทยาที่เกี่ยวข้อง
