The enhancement of the mother and children’s health care: the perspectives from the Thai medication and the modern medication

Abstract

Introduction: This study desires to find the perspectives and stategies through the Thai medication and the modernmedication on the enhancement of the mother and children’s health care. The research question is couldthese two medication methods nicely composite?

Methods: The focus group discussion, the in-depth interview and the content analysis methods were employedto answer the research question.

Results: The finding was the Thai medication and the modern medication were nicely utilized for the mother andchildren’s health care enhancement.

Argument: We have to reserve the Thai medication, the Thai wisdom, the florae, and the Thai herbs. Moreover,the Thai medication and the modern medication have to be studied continuously.

Conclusion: The outstanding points of the Thai medication are the process of the health care enhancement consistentwith the Thai culture. Moreover, the local herbs and the local materials are utilized and they do not causethe serious side effects. Beside this, the Thai medication treatment is low cost and can merge with themodern medication which has the accurately treatment.
