Health effect from exposure to butyl acrylate in chemical emergency incidence at Laem Chabang Port 2014

In the morning of July 17th, 2014, some butyl acrylate was leaked from a cargo ship while unloading cargo containers at Laem Chabang Port in Sri Racha district of Chonburi province. After the leakage, it affected 189 persons who lived around the port. Most of people who affected were children 109 persons (57.67%), and 80 were adult (42.33%). Female were 104 persons (55.03%), and male were 85 persons (44.97%). Top 5 of symptoms were dizziness (34.39%), nausea (33.86%), vomiting (29.10%), headache (18.52%), and eye irritation and tearing (13.23%). No victims had disability or decease in this
incidence.
