The samples were forty-eight patients who had been diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent one of the breast cancer surgeries at Sappasitthiprasong Hospital Ubon Ratchathani between July 2019 – December 2019. They were systematic sampling and divided into an experimental group of 24 people and a control group of 24 people with a trial duration of 6 months. The research instruments were the breast cancer knowledge and practice form, the behavioral assessment form and the anxiety evaluation form for breast cancer surgery patients. Data were analyzed by means, percentage, standard deviation and t-test.</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>The research findings were as follows</strong>:</p> <ol> <li class="show">The breast cancer surgery patients in the experimental group and the control group had moderate anxiety.</li> <li class="show">The breast cancer surgery patients who received the holistic nursing program had the level of anxiety lower than the control group that receiving routine nursing care.</li> <li class="show">The breast cancer surgery patients who received the holistic nursing program had the level of knowledge about breast cancer and behavior , and the level of behavioral behavior were higher than the control group that received routine nursing care</li> </ol> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Keywords</strong>: <em>Holistic nursing, Anxiety, Breast cancer</em></p>}, number={2}, journal={UBRU Journal for Public Health Research}, author={Laowsarn, Kanokwan and Raksin, Monthicha and Chueasathuchon, Chuanchai}, year={2020}, month={Dec.}, pages={125–136} }
