At the present, in the context of Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima district. The number of infected persons per day increased 2-4 times more than the first wave of COVID-19 spread. There is a huge impact on life, public health, social and economic systems, Therefore, the community health volunteers work a very important role for pandemic controlling in all 17 communities in community health centers of Ratchasima hospital which is the area of responsibility that is in Mueang District Nakhon Ratchasima Province. This article presents the essence of reviewing the literature and implementing the project to promote the competency of COVID-19 control operations. The objective is to inform the readers of 1) The role of the community health volunteer in controlling the situation of the coronavirus 2019 outbreak 2) Guidelines for promoting the competency of community health volunteers for COVID-19 control 3) Success factors in promoting the competency of community health volunteer for the control of the COVID-19 pandemic.</p><p>            In conclusion, the guidelines for promoting the competency of community health volunteers in effectively controlling the spread of COVID-19 include educating about the disease, forming an appropriate attitude to the infected group. And finally, the necessary skills training in the role of community health volunteers includes activities, washing hands, taking temperature, and putting on -off a mask.</p> ER -
