Perception of Health Status, Lifestyle, and being the Health Promotion leaders of Muslim women in Context of Central area in Thailand.

This qualitative study aimed to understanding the perception of health status, lifestyle, and being the leadership health promotion of Muslim women in context of central area of Thailand.  Twenty four participants were Muslin women age 25-31 by using purposive sampling and snowball techniques. Data were collected using focus group and in-depth interviewed until data saturation. Triangulation confirmed trustworthiness. Content analyses was used for data analysis. The findings revealed that participants perceived healthy 66.2 %. Most of them had underlying diseases such as overweight, hyperlipidemia, diabetes mellitus, and 

hypertension. The meaning of leadership composed of three main themes: 1) Women hold to Islam’s principle about good women: take care her children effectively, comply with her husband, take care all kindred happiness, and being leadership women that was no man in home 2) Women leader were a leadership characteristic: dare to speak, dare to act and lead people to do something. 3) Women were healthy in order to lead someone to practice: Physical, Psychological, social, spiritual, and environment wellbeing. The findings suggested that promoting to be a leadership Muslim women should understand health status, the lifestyle, need, and practice on Islam principle of Muslim women. Health care provider can use this findings to plan for developing the effective health promotion Muslim women leaders
