บทคัดย่อ

ภาวะปากแหว่งเพดานโหว่ในเด็กเป็นความพิการแต่กำเนิดของศีรษะและใบหน้า ซึ่งมีผลกระทบต่อร่างกายและจิตใจของเด็กและผู้ปกครอง การรักษาที่ได้ผลดีและเป็นที่ยอมรับคือการทำผ่าตัดเพื่อแก้ไขความพิการดังกล่าว การมีส่วนร่วมของผู้ปกครองในการดูแลเด็กเป็นสิ่งสำคัญต่อเด็กปากแหว่งเพดานโหว่ ทั้งระยะก่อนและหลังการผ่าตัด รวมทั้งการดูแลเด็กต่อที่บ้าน พยาบาลมีบทบาทที่สำคัญในการให้ความรู้และคำแนะนำแก่ผู้ปกครองในการดูแลเด็กปากแหว่งเพดานโหว่ รวมทั้งส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนให้ผู้ปกครองมีส่วนร่วมในการดูแลเด็กได้อย่างเหมาะสมและมีประสิทธิภาพ

Roles of Nurse and Parent Participation in the care of childern with Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate

Cleft lip and cleft palate are congenital deformities of head and face which affect body and mind of both the child and the parent. Surgery is the effective and acceptable treatment to repair the defects. Parent participation in the care of children with cleft lip and cleft palate before and after the surgery as well as at home is imperative. Nurse plays significant roles to provide knowledge and advice for the parents to care for their children with cleft lip and cleft palate, as well as promote and advocate the parents to participate in the care appropriately and effectively.
