ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมทางเพศของผู้สูงอายุสตรีที่มารับบริการในคลินิกวัยทอง

บทคัดย่อ

พฤติกรรมทางเพศของผู้สูงอายุเป็นเรื่องสำคัญและมีการศึกษาน้อยในสังคมไทย การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาแบบหาความสัมพันธ์ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมทางเพศและปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมทางเพศของผู้สูงอายุสตรี ได้แก่ ปัจจัยด้านความรู้เรื่องเพศสัมพันธ์ ทัศนคติ  เรื่องเพศสัมพันธ์ ภาวะสุขภาพ และสัมพันธภาพระหว่างคู่สมรส กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้สูงอายุสตรีทีมารับบริการในคลินิกวัยทองของโรงพยาบาล มหาวิทยาลัยแห่งหนึ่งจำนวน 82 ราย ได้มาโดยการสุ่มอย่างง่าย เครื่องมือใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย แบบสอบถามข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล แบบสอบถามความรู้เรื่องเพศสัมพันธ์ แบบสอบถามภาวะสุขภาพ แบบสอบถามทัศนคติเรื่องเพศสัมพันธ์ แบบสอบถามสัมพันธภาพระหว่างคู่สมรส และแบบสอบถามพฤติกรรมทางเพศ ความเชื่อมั่น มีค่าเท่ากับ .79, .83, .86 และ .82 ตามลำดับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการหาค่าแจกแจงความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์เพียร์สัน

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ทัศนคติเรื่องเพศสัมพันธ์มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกในระดับปานกลาง และสัมพันธภาพระหว่างคู่สมรสมีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกในระดับปานกลางกับพฤติกรรมทางเพศของผู้สูงอายุสตรีอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 (r = .56 และ .39 ตามลำดับ) ส่วนภาวะสุขภาพและความรู้เรื่องเพศสัมพันธ์ไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมทางเพศของผู้สูงอายุสตรีอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ

Related Factors with Sexual Behavior of Female Elderly Receiving Health Care Services at Menopause Clinic

Sexual behavior of female elderly is very significant and understudied in Thai society. This correlational study aimed to examine the relationship between knowledge of and attitude towards sexual behaviors, health status, relationship with spouse and sexual behavior of female elderly. Eighty two older adults of age attending menopause clinic at an university hospital were randomly selected to participate in this study. Instruments used included The Demographic Questionnaire, The Knowledge about Sexual Behavior Questionnaire, The Health status Questionnaire, The Attitudes towards Sexual Behavior Questionnaire, The Relationship with Spouse Questionnaire and The Sexual Behavior Questionnaire with its reliability of .79, .83, .86 and .82, respectively. Data were computed as frequency, percent, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient was also calculated.

Findings revealed that attitude towards sexual behavior and relationship with spouse of female elderly positively related to sexual behavior at the moderate level with the significant level of .01 (r = .56, r = .39 respectively).
