การพยาบาลเพื่อการตายดีตามการรับรู้ของพยาบาลวิชาชีพ

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพแบบปรากฏการณ์วิทยาของไฮเดกเกอร์ครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อบรรยายการพยาบาลเพื่อ การตายดีตามการรับรู้ของพยาบาลวิชาชีพ ผู้ให้ข้อมูลเป็นพยาบาลวิชาชีพที่ปฏิบัติงานในโรงพยาบาลมะเร็ง จังหวัดชลบุรี เลือกให้ผู้ให้ข้อมูลแบบเฉพาะเจาะจงตามคุณสมบัติที่กำหนดจำนวน 8 คน เก็บข้อมูลตั้งแต่เดือน พฤษภาคม 2555 ถึงเดือนสิงหาคม 2555 โดยวิธีการสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึก การสังเกต และการสะท้อนคิด วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลตามขั้นตอนของ Cohen, Kahn & Steeves (2000) ผลการศึกษาพบ ประเด็นหลักเกี่ยวกับการพยาบาลเพื่อตายดีตามการรับรู้ของพยาบาลรวม 5 ประเด็น คือ การตายอย่างสงบ การตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้ป่วยและญาติ กิจกรรมการพยาบาลเพื่อการตายดี ผลจากการพยาบาลเพื่อการตายดี และสิ่งที่เอื้อให้เกิดการพยาบาลเพื่อการตายดี

ผลการศึกษาครั้งนี้ ทำให้เกิดความเข้าใจที่ลึกซึ้งถึงการพยาบาลเพื่อตายดีตามการรับรู้ของพยาบาล ทำให้สามารถนำมาเป็นข้อมูลพื้นฐานการพยาบาลและการทำวิจัยต่อไปเพื่อพัฒนาองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการพยาบาลเพื่อให้ผู้ป่วยเกิดการตายที่ดีต่อไป

Good Death Nursing Care as Perceived by the Professional Nurses

A qualitative research based on Heideggerian phenomenology aimed to describe good death nursing care as perceived by the nurses. Eight informants who were the professional nurses at cancer hospital in Chonburi were purposively selected. Data were collected by in-depth interview, observation and critical reflection during May, 2012 to August, 2012. Cohen, Kahn and Steeves’s (2000) steps guided data analysis. Five themes of good death nursing care as perceived by the professional nurses emerged, which were peaceful death, need response of the patients and their relatives, nursing care activities for good death, outcomes from caring for good death, and things facilitate good death nursing care. This findings provide deep understanding of good death nursing care as perceived by the nurses. It can be basic information for nurses to provide good death nursing care and further explore for greater understanding and development of a body of knowledge regarding good death nursing care.
