Workplace bullying among nurses

Abstract
Workplace bullying among nurses is an aggressive behavior which is unaccepted in society. It can occur in nurses at all levels of work position, but it mostly happens to newly nurse employees. The perpetrator nurses of violence, they are persons with negative, aggressive and antisocial behaviors. There are two types of workplace bullying: open and close. Workplace bullying impacts on the victims both physically and mentally, on nursing quality and organization. These may result in nursing practice errors that affect the patients. The organization incurs costs from turnover, recruitment of new nurses and training. A guideline for solving the workplace bullying includes announcing a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, giving some kind of response back to the doer in order to deter the doer, recording and reporting bullying behaviors to human resources department and using the legal measures as well as creating plans and strategies to prevent bullying in the organization.
