Evaluation of Dental Services in Well Child Clinic, Lomsak Hospital, Phetchaboon Province during 2011-2015

Abstract
The objective of this study was to evaluate dental services in well child clinic, Lomsak hospital, Phetchaboon province during 2011-2015. By comparing the behavior of oral health care of parents for children and dental caries in children with or without continuous participation in project. Studied on children aged 3 years and come with parents during May 2015. Data was collected by interviewing parents, oral examination in children and assessed parents’ proper tooth brushing technique for children. Subjects were 68 children with continuous participation and 85 children without continuous participation. Results showed that children with continuous participation were less consumption of candy, snack twice a day and sweet milk than another group with statistically significant (p = 0.009, 0.001, 0.006). The dental caries in the continuous children (45.6 %) was less than the other group (69.4 %) with a statistically significant (p=0.003). However, there was no difference between parents with or without continuous participation in proper tooth brushing technique for children.
