Unit cost of oral health services at the Nongbunmark hospital Nakorn Ratchasima Province in fiscal year 2006.

Abstract

The objective of the study was to analyze unit cost of oral health services of Nongbunmark hospital, Nakorn Ratchasima province. The data was conducted between October 2005 to September 2006. The results were classified by service groups which were promotive, preventive,curative and denture services. The average unit cost of the oral health services was 188.18 baht per visit, which the labour, material and capital costs were 119.32, 46.10 and 22.75 baht, respectively. According to service groups, the cost of promotive, preventive and curative service was 93.06, 122.37 and 193.31 baht per visit, respectively. While the denture service costed 307.28 baht per visit or 814.61 baht per piece.
