The Evaluation of the Use of Dental Health Division's Printed Media by Health Personnal working under the Ministry of Public Health.

Abstract
This study aimed to evaluate the printed media produced by Dental Health Division during ist January 1994 to 3oth September 1995 on the amount, distribution, sufficient and the usage justified by objectives. It also aimed to investigate the need on the type and text of printed media using in different level of organizations under the Ministry of Public Health where dental personnel persisted and 10 % of all health centers. The results showed that from 1,625 questionaires the response were only 45.7 % There were 10.9 % said they cannot remember about the printed media, 10.6 % no reply, 89.4 % received more than 2 items of posters, 58.1 % received more than 2 items of leaflets and 57.2 % received flip charts. For the quantity, more than 50 % said that they did not get enough printed media. Some organizations misused the posters. Most of organizations used the printed medias they received and required more posters, flip charts and leaflets respectively. The text they need were “conventional oral health care” oral health care for pregnancy and pre-school children “Most of organizations suggested that there should be a standardized system to supply printed media filled to the need on quantity, text, time and should be evaluated from time to time.
