การศึกษาเปรียบเทียบประสิทธิภาพของแปรงสีฟันซิสเท็มมาและแปรงสีฟันรุ่น Tooth & Gum Care กับแปรงสีฟันกรมอนามัย

บทคัดย่อ
การศึกษานี้เป็นการเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการกําจัดคราบจุลินทรีย์ระหว่างแปรงสีฟัน ซิสเท็มมาที่มีขนแปรงปลายเรียวแหลม และแปรงสีฟันรชรุ่น Tooth & Gum Care ที่มีขนแปรงแตก ปลายแบบขนนก กับแปรงสีฟันกรมอนามัยที่มีปลายขนแปรงมนกลม กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียน พยาบาลที่มีสุขภาพช่องปากดีจํานวน 90 คน แบ่งเป็น 3 กลุ่มเท่ากันโดยวิธีสุ่มอย่างง่าย แต่ละ กลุ่มใช้แปรงสีฟันที่กําหนดให้เป็นเวลา 30 วัน โดยแปรงฟันวันละ 2 ครั้ง ทําการประเมินในวันแรก วันที่ 15 และวันที่ 30 ของการใช้แปรงสีฟัน โดยนับจํานวนแผลในช่องปาก บันทึกดัชนีคราบจุลินทรีย์ และดัชนีเหงือกอักเสบ ก่อนและหลังการแปรงฟัน ผลการศึกษา พบว่าแปรงสีฟันทั้ง 3 ชนิดไม่ทํา อันตรายต่อเหงือกและเนื้อเยื่ออ่อนในช่องปาก สามารถกําจัดคราบจุลินทรีย์และลดเหงือกอักเสบลง ได้อย่างมีนัยสําคัญทางสถิติ (p <0.05 ) และไม่พบความแตกต่างในการกําจัดคราบจุลินทรีย์ ระหว่างแปรงสีฟัน 3 ชนิดที่ใช้ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้
