บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยเชิงวิเคราะห์แบบตัดขวางนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสำรวจภาวะหมดไฟในการทำงานและวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องในทันตาภิบาลสังกัดสำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงสาธารณสุขในจังหวัดสงขลาจำนวน 133 คน ส่งแบบประเมินภาวะหมดไฟแมสแลชฉบับภาษาไทย (Maslach Burnout Inventory) ทางไปรษณีย์ให้ผู้ตอบอ่านและเขียนตอบด้วยตนเอง แบบประเมินประกอบด้วยข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลและภาวะหมดไฟในการทำงานใน 3 ด้าน (ความอ่อนล้าทางอารมณ์ การลดทอนความเป็นบุคคล และความสำเร็จส่วนตน) วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติพรรณนา ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยเลขคณิต ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติอนุมาน ได้แก่ การทดสอบแมน-วิทนีย์ ยู และการทดสอบครัสคัล-วอลลิส และวิเคราะห์การถดถอยโลจิสติกหาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างพหุปัจจัยกับภาวะหมดไฟแต่ละด้าน
อัตราตอบกลับร้อยละ 73.7 ทันตาภิบาลมีความอ่อนล้าทางอารมณ์ในระดับปานกลางโดยมีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 19.4 (SD=12.68) ค่าเฉลี่ยความสำเร็จส่วนตนเท่ากับ 35.5 (SD=9.53) อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ขณะที่ค่าเฉลี่ยการลดทอนความเป็นบุคคลเท่ากับ 4.7 (SD=4.45) อยู่ในระดับต่ำ ด้านความอ่อนล้าทางอารมณ์ ผู้จบการศึกษาระดับประกาศนียบัตรสาธารณสุขศาสตร์ (หลักสูตรทันตสาธารณสุข 2 ปี) มีความอ่อนล้าทางอารมณ์มากกว่าผู้จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี (adjusted OR=3.89, 95% CI=1.16-13.00) ทันตาภิบาลที่มีระดับความรู้สึกเมื่อยล้าหลังเลิกงานบางครั้งหรือบ่อย ๆ มีความอ่อนล้าทางอารมณ์น้อยกว่าผู้ที่มีความรู้สึกเมื่อยล้าเป็นประจำโดยมีอัตราส่วนออดที่ปรับแล้วเท่ากับ 0.03 (95% CI=0.00-0.14) และ 0.14 (95% CI=0.03- 0.72) ตามลำดับ ด้านการลดทอนความเป็นบุคคล คนโสดมีการลดทอนความเป็นบุคคลมากกว่าผู้สมรสแล้ว (adjusted OR=3.39, 95% CI=1.27-9.09) และทันตาภิบาลที่มีระดับความรู้สึกเมื่อยล้าหลังเลิกงานเป็นบางครั้ง มีการลดทอนความเป็นบุคคลน้อยกว่าผู้ที่รู้สึกเมื่อยล้าเป็นประจำ (adjusted OR=0.26, 95% CI=0.08-0.87) ด้านความสำเร็จส่วนตน ทันตาภิบาลอายุ 21-38 ปี มีความสำเร็จส่วนตนมากกว่าผู้ที่มีอายุ 39- 59 ปี (adjusted OR=2.58, 95% CI=1.06-6.27)
