บทคัดย่อ
โรคติดเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา 2019 (โควิด 19) ส่งผลกระทบต่อการดำเนินงานทันตกรรม โดยเฉพาะหัตถการที่มีการกรอฟันและการดูดน้ำลาย เนื่องจากสามารถทำให้เกิดการแพร่กระจายเชื้อทางอากาศ การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลการปฏิบัติงานทันตกรรมระหว่างปีงบประมาณ 2562 ซึ่งยังไม่พบการแพร่ระบาดของโควิด 19 และปีงบประมาณ 2563 และ 2564 ซึ่งเป็นช่วงที่เกิดการแพร่ระบาดของโควิด 19 โดยใช้สถิติร้อยละ ผลการศึกษาพบผู้รับบริการทันตกรรมในปีงบประมาณ 2563 และ 2564 มีจำนวนลดลงจากปีงบประมาณ 2562 ร้อยละ 19.0 และ 38.3 ตามลำดับ ผลการปฏิบัติงานทันตกรรมฉุกเฉินลดลงร้อยละ 14.8 และ 23.3 ผลการปฏิบัติงานทันตกรรมพื้นฐาน ได้แก่ อุดฟัน ขูดหินน้ำลาย และถอนฟัน ในปีงบประมาณ 2563 ลดลงร้อยละ 23.8 28.6 และ 13.5 ตามลำดับ และในปีงบประมาณ 2564 ลดลงร้อยละ 44.4 50.5 และ 40.0 ตามลำดับ และผลการปฏิบัติงาน ทันตกรรมเฉพาะทาง ได้แก่ สาขาวิทยาเอ็นโดดอนต์ สาขาทันตกรรมหัตถการ สาขาปริทันตวิทยา สาขาทันตกรรมประดิษฐ์ และสาขาศัลยกรรมช่องปาก ลดลงร้อยละ 48.5 25.6 29.0 39.2 และ 9.8 ตามลำดับ ในปีงบประมาณ 2563 และลดลงร้อยละ 63.7 45.8 48.8 56.0 และ 30.7 ตามลำดับ ในปีงบประมาณ 2564 เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับปีงบประมาณ 2562 ดังนั้นจึงควรมีการศึกษาเพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการตัดสินใจมารับบริการทันตกรรมในช่วงการแพร่ระบาดของโควิด 19
