การใช้ซิลเวอร์ไดอะมีนฟลูออไรด์ในการจัดการรากฟันผุในผู้สูงอายุโดยทันตาภิบาล : การทบทวนวรรณกรรมแบบกำหนดขอบเขต

บทคัดย่อ
สถานการณ์รากฟันผุในผู้สูงอายุมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มขึ้น จากรายงานผลการสำรวจสภาวะทันตสุขภาพแห่งชาติ ประเทศไทย ครั้งที่ 9 (พ.ศ. 2566) ผู้สูงอายุที่มีรากฟันผุที่ไม่ได้รับการรักษาร้อยละ 35.5 ซึ่งมีจำนวนเพิ่มขึ้น 2 เท่าจากการสำรวจครั้งที่ 8 (พ.ศ. 2560) ซิลเวอร์ไดอะมีนฟลูออไรด์เป็นสารละลายที่ใช้ทาบนฟันผุเพื่อหวังผลในการป้องกันและหยุดยั้งรอยผุที่รากฟันแท้ มีขั้นตอนการรักษาไม่ซับซ้อน ใช้อุปกรณ์น้อย มีประสิทธิผล และสามารถใช้ในชุมชนได้ การใช้ซิลเวอร์ไดอะมีนฟลูออไรด์โดย ทันตาภิบาล เป็นอีกทางเลือกหนึ่งในการเพิ่มโอกาสการเข้าถึงการรักษารากฟันผุ การทบทวนวรรณกรรมแบบกำหนดขอบเขตนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทบทวนวรรณกรรมเรื่องการจัดการรากฟันผุด้วยซิลเวอร์ไดอะมีนฟลูออไรด์และปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการใช้ ซิลเวอร์ไดอะมีนฟลูออไรด์ในการจัดการรากฟันผุในผู้สูงอายุโดยทันตาภิบาล มีงานวิจัยที่ผ่านเกณฑ์จำนวน 6 ฉบับ พบว่าการใช้ซิลเวอร์ไดอะมีนฟลูออไรด์สามารถใช้จัดการรากฟันผุในผู้สูงอายุทั้งในคลินิกทันตกรรม บ้านพักคนชรา และในชุมชน โดยมีผู้ให้การรักษา ได้แก่ ทันตแพทย์ ทันตาภิบาล และนักศึกษาทันตแพทย์ กล่าวโดยสรุป ซิลเวอร์ไดอะมีนฟลูออไรด์สามารถใช้จัดการรากฟันผุได้ ทั้งในการป้องกันและหยุดยั้งรากฟันผุในผู้สูงอายุ เนื่องด้วยมีขั้นตอนการรักษาที่ไม่ซับซ้อนและมีประสิทธิภาพในการหยุดยั้งฟันผุได้สูง ดังนั้นทันตาภิบาลจึงสามารถใช้ซิลเวอร์ไดอะมีนฟลูออไรด์จัดการรากฟันผุในผู้สูงอายุได้โดยอยู่ภายใต้ขอบเขตและความสามารถของทันตาภิบาล ความพร้อมของวัสดุอุปกรณ์ และการยอมรับจากผู้ป่วยและทันตบุคลากร ตลอดจนส่งเสริมให้ความรู้และฝึกฝนทันตาภิบาลให้มีความมั่นใจในการใช้ซิลเวอร์ไดอะมีนฟลูออไรด์ในการจัดการรากฟันผุเพื่อเป็นทางเลือกในการจัดการรากฟันผุโดยทันตาภิบาลในการดูแลระดับปฐมภูมิต่อไป
