About the Journal

The Thai Journal of Surgery is the official publication of The Royal College of Surgeons of Thailand issued quarterly.

The Thai Journal of Surgery invites concise original articles in clinical and experimental surgery, surgical education, surgical history, surgical techniques and devices, as well as review articles in surgery and related fields. Papers in basic science and translational medicine related to surgery are also welcome.

Aim & Scope

The Thai Journal of Surgery is dedicated to serving the needs of the Members of The Royal College of Surgeons of Thailand, especially the younger researchers and surgical trainees who wish to have an outlet for their research endeavors. The Royal College strives to encourage and help develop Thai Surgeons to become competent researchers in all their chosen fields. With an international outlook, The Thai Journal of Surgery welcomes submissions from outside of Thailand as well.

Original research article: blinded peer review; at least 2 subject-reviewers per article, and a statistical reviewer

Special article, Review article, or Case report: blinded peer review: at least 1 subject-reviewer per article

Editorial or Solicited article: not peer-reviewed
