Abstract

ต่อม thyroid เป็นต่อมไร้ท้อที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในร่างกาย ซึ่งทำหน้าที่สร้างฮอร์โมน thyroxin เพื่อควบคุม metabolism ของร่างกาย ส่วนต่อม parathyroid มีขนาดเล็กทำหน้าที่สร้าง parathormone ซึ่งทำหน้าที่ควบคุมระดับ calcium ในเลือกและกระดูก
