Abstract

Somatostatin และ somatostatin analogue มีบทบาทเพิ่มขึ้นเรื่อยๆ ในศัลยศาสตร์ บทฟื้นฟูวิซาการนี้ เขียนขึ้นโดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้ศัลยแพทย์ได้เช้าใจถึงสรีรวิทยา เภสัชวิทยา ข้อบ่งชี้ และบทบาทต่างๆ ของสารกลุ่มนี้ รวมทั้งได้สรุปผลการศึกษาต่างๆ ที่เกี่ยวกับการนำสารกลุ่มนี้มาใช้ในผู้ป่วยศัลยกรรม เพื่อเป็นพื้นฐานให้ ศัลยแพทย์ใช้เป็นหลักในการพิจารณาใช้ในผู้ป่วยต่อไป
