บทคัดย่อ

            การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ คือ 1)เพื่อศึกษาวิถีชีวิตและคุณภาพชีวิตในการทำงานของพนักงานช่างประจำอาคาร 2) เพื่อเสนอทัศนะที่มีต่อวิถีชีวิตและคุณภาพชีวิตในการทำงานของพนักงานช่างประจำอาคาร โดยงานดูแลบำรุงรักษาอาคารและสถานที่ ต้องอาศัยความเข้าใจการทำงาน มีความรู้ทางเทคนิค เพื่อจัดการงานอาคาร ให้สามารถใช้งานได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ เพิ่มคุณภาพ เพิ่มมูลค่าในการใช้อาคาร และลดค่าใช้จ่าย ในการดูแลบำรุงรักษาอาคารและสถานที่ พนักงานช่างประจำอาคารจึงมีความสำคัญและมีรายละเอียดพิเศษเฉพาะ เพื่อให้ผู้เช่าอาคารและผู้ใช้งานเป็นประจำและผู้มาติดต่อ ได้สัมผัสได้ถึงความพร้อมใช้งานของระบบประกอบอาคาร ความปลอดภัยในระบบต่างๆของอาคาร ซึ่งเจ้าของอาคารต้องอาศัยผู้ที่มีใจรักในงานบริการด้านนี้ พนักงานช่างประจำอาคารก็เป็นอีกอาชีพหนึ่งที่ต้องการแรงงานที่มีความรู้และประสบการณ์ด้านนี้อยู่มาก งานวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ วิธีวิทยาแบบการสนทนากลุ่ม วิธีการเก็บข้อมูลประกอบด้วยการสนทนากลุ่ม การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกและการสังเกตแบบไม่มีส่วนร่วม ผู้วิจัยยังศึกษาแนวคิด ทฤษฏีต่างๆที่เกี่ยวข้อง จากเอกสารต่างๆ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้คือพนักงานช่างประจำอาคาร จำนวน 10 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ แบบสัมภาษณ์

            ผลการวิจัยพบว่า พนักงานช่างประจำอาคาร มีวิถีชีวิตความเป็นอยู่โดยมีทัศนะมุมมองต่างๆ 3 ด้านดังนี้ 1) ด้านการดำเนินชีวิต 2) ด้านกิจวัตรประจำวัน 3) ด้านชีวิตส่วนตัว และพนักงานช่างประจำอาคารมีคุณภาพชีวิตในการทำงานโดยมีทัศนะมุมมองต่างๆ 8 ด้านดังนี้ 1) ด้านความปลอดภัยและการส่งเสริมสุขภาพ 2) ด้านสิทธิของลูกจ้าง 3) ด้านความมั่นคงและโอกาสความก้าวหน้า 4) ด้านการพัฒนาและใช้ความสามารถ 5) ด้านสภาพงานและขอบเขต 6) ด้านสภาพแวดล้อมในการทำงาน 7) ด้านค่าตอบแทนที่เพียงพอและยุติธรรม 8) ด้านภาวะผู้นำ    งานและขอบเขตชีวิตส่วนตัว พนักงานช่างประจำอาคารเป็นอาชีพที่ต้องอาศัยความรู้และประสบการณ์ที่สูง รักงานบริการ มีความใส่ใจและมุ่งมั่นในการประกอบอาชีพของตนเอง มีระเบียบ ขยัน อดทน และมีความรับผิดชอบ ทัศนะต่ออาชีพมองว่าเป็นอาชีพที่สุจริต มีความรักในอาชีพนี้ ได้รายได้ที่แน่นอนและต้องการให้มีการปรับรายได้ให้สูงขึ้น หรือเพิ่มสวัสดิการและสิทธิประโยชน์ต่าง ๆ เช่นเงินเดือน เงินโบนัส เบี้ยขยัน เงินกู้ยืม เป็นอาชีพที่มีความมั่นคงและมีความก้าวหน้าในหน้าที่การงาน
