การศึกษาลักษณะของการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมนักศึกษากับคุณลักษณะด้านจิตอาสาของนิสิตนักศึกษา

Abstract

การดำเนินการศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยแบบผสม (Mixed Method Research) ทั้งการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ (Quantitative Research) และเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) มีวัตถุประสงค์คือ 1. เพื่อศึกษาระดับของการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมนักศึกษาของนิสิตนักศึกษา 2. เพื่อศึกษาระดับของคุณลักษณะด้านจิตอาสาของนิสิตนักศึกษา 3. เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะของการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมนักศึกษากับคุณลักษณะด้านจิตอาสาของนิสิตนักศึกษา เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้ประกอบด้วย แบบสอบถาม (Questionnaire) และร่างแนวการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก (In-depth Interviews) โดยเก็บข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณจากกลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือนิสิตนักศึกษาที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในระดับปริญญาตรี ในปีการศึกษา 2556 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 จากมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐในจังหวัดนครปฐม 4 แห่ง ได้แก่ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร วิทยาเขตพระราชวังสนามจันทร์มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล วิทยาเขตศาลายา มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ วิทยาเขตกำแพงแสน และมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครปฐม รวมทั้งสิ้น 398 คน สุ่มกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยวิธีการสุ่มแบบหลายขั้นตอน (Multi-stage Random Sampling) และเก็บข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ ประธานและเลขานุการจากชมรม 4 ประเภท ประเภทละ 1 ชมรม รวมทั้งสิ้น 8 คน สุ่มกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยวิธีการสุ่มแบบเจาะจง (Purposive Sampling) สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณ ได้แก่ การแจกแจงความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ส่วนการวิเคราะห์คำถามปลายเปิดและข้อมูลการสัมภาษณ์ ใช้การวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Content Analysis)

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. ระดับการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมนักศึกษา โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายด้านพบว่า ด้านที่มากที่สุดคือระดับการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมด้านบำเพ็ญประโยชน์หรืออาสาพัฒนาชนบท โดยอยู่ในระดับมาก รองลงมาคือระดับการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมด้านกีฬา ระดับการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรม

ด้านจริยธรรมและระดับการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรม ซึ่งอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ตามลำดับ 2. ระดับคุณลักษณะด้านจิตอาสา โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง เมื่อพิจารณารายด้าน พบว่าด้านที่มากที่สุดคือ ระดับคุณลักษณะจิตอาสาด้านการช่วยเหลือผู้อื่น อยู่ในระดับมาก รองลงมาคือระดับคุณลักษณะจิตอาสาด้านความมุ่งมั่นพัฒนา อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง และระดับคุณลักษณะจิตอาสาด้านการเสียสละต่อสังคม อยู่ในระดับน้อย ตามลำดับ 3. การมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมนักศึกษาอย่างจริงจังในลักษณะที่มีการทุ่มเทแรงกาย แรงใจ เข้าไปมีส่วนร่วมในการคิด แก้ไข พัฒนา และลงมือปฏิบัติจริง จะทำให้เกิดการพัฒนาคุณลักษณะจิตอาสามากขึ้นได้

This research is Mixed Method Research based on the Quantitative Research and Qualitative Research. The objectives were 1. to study the level of participation in student activities of students in University. 2. to study the level of characteristics of volunteer spirit of students in University. 3. to study characteristics of participation in student activities and characteristics of volunteer spirit of students in University. The research instruments content questionnaire and in-depth interviews form. Quantitative data were collected from the samples who were studying in second semester, 2013 academic year of bachelor degree in four Universities in Nakhon Pathom province such as Silpakorn University, Mahidol University, Kasetsart University and Nakhon Pathom rajabhat University, consisted of 398 students. The sampling procedure was the muti-stage sampling. Qualitative data collected from the samples who were presidents and secretaries of four different kinds of student activity clubs which contain eight members in each. The sampling procedure was the purposive sampling. The statistical analysis for quantitative data consisted of frequency distribution, percentage, mean and standard deviation. For open ended questionnaire and qualitative data used content analysis.

The results were as follows:

               1. Entire topics of this level of participation in student activities were evaluated at medium rate. Considering each of its dimensions, it is found that the highest level was the level of doing public benefits and volunteer rural development activities were at the high rate. The second level was sport activities, next was moralities and the last was art and cultural activities were at medium rate respectively.               2. Entire topics of this level of characteristic of volunteer spirit were evaluated at medium rate. Considering each of its dimensions, it is found that the highest level was volunteering to help and assist people was at the high rate. The second level was volunteering to determine for developing was at the medium rate. The last level was volunteering to sacrifice for society was at low rate respectively. 3. Serious participation in student activities, devoted physical and mental strength, participation to think, resolve, develop and carry out can increase volunteer spirit’s characteristics more.
