               หนังสือ ศิลปะการบรรเลงเปียโน เขียนขึ้นในปี ค.ศ.1958 โดยไฮน์ริค นอยเฮาส์ (Heinrich Neuhaus, ค.ศ.1888-1964) นักเปียโนและครูที่มีชื่อเสียงชาวรัสเซีย เหมาะสำหรับนักเปียโนและครูเปียโนทั่วไป มีเนื้อหาสาระเกี่ยวกับการบรรเลงเปียโนที่ถูกต้อง การให้ความสำคัญกับจินตนาการและความไพเราะของทำนองมากกว่าเน้นเฉพาะเทคนิค ความอิสระของสรีระที่เป็นพื้นฐานสำคัญในการผลิตคุณภาพเสียงที่เหมาะสม การเลือกใช้นิ้ว การใช้เพเดิล วิธีการสอนนักเรียน โดยเฉพาะการสอนที่สำคัญที่สุดคือการสอนให้นักเรียนสามารถเป็นครูของตัวเองได้ ไปจนถึงการเตรียมตัวสำหรับคอนเสิร์ต  วิธีการเขียนมีลักษณะแบบอนุทิน เต็มไปด้วยรายละเอียดและตัวอย่างจากเพลงต่างๆ

Abstract

               This book review analyzes The Art of Piano Playing written in 1958 by Heinrich Neuhaus (1888-1964), a noted Russian pianist and teacher. This book is applicable for pianists and piano teachers. Major contents are importance of imagination and beauty of tone rather than pure techniques, freedom and relaxation in order to produce sounds with good quality, fingerings, and pedaling. Neuhaus also shared his ideas about teaching skill and the ultimate goal for students to be able to teach themselves and preparation for concerts. The book is in a diary-like style, full of details and examples from selected compositions.
