บทคัดย่อ

              วิทยานิพนธ์ หัวข้อเรื่อง ชีวิตในบึงบัว มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อแสดงออกเรื่องของสิ่งมีชีวิตที่อาศัยในบึงบัว  ซึ่งเป็นการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน จิตรกรรมสองมิติ เทคนิคสีอะคริลิคบนผ้าใบ ในรูปแบบจิตรกรรมไทยร่วมสมัย โดยนำแรงบัลดาลใจมาจากความทรงจำ  การพึ่งพาอาศัยของสิ่งมีชีวิตในบึงบัวที่เคยอุดมสมบูรณ์ในอดีต มาเป็นแนวคิดหลัก  โดยแสดงภาพชีวิตที่ต้องเกี่ยวข้องสัมพันธ์กับในบึงบัว  อาศัยรูปทรงของบึงบัวตามธรรมชาติเป็นข้อมูลเบื้องต้น อันประกอบด้วย ดอกบัวใบบัว สัตว์และพืชน้ำต่างๆ นำมาจัดวาง พัฒนา ดัดแปลง สร้างสรรค์ให้เป็นภาพชีวิตในบึงบัวตามจินตนาการ และมีลักษณะ ส่วนตนของข้าพเจ้ามุ่งเน้นให้เห็นการพึ่งพาอาศัยกันของสิ่งมีชีวิตในบึงบัวที่มีทั้งสัตว์และพืชน้ำ โดยดึงประสบการณ์และความรู้สึกในอดีตมาใช้ในการทำงานวิจัย

             ขอบเขตของการศึกษา  เป็นการศึกษาหาแนวคิด ด้านรูปแบบสู่การสร้างสรรค์ ร่วมทั้งนำเสนอผลงานศิลปะด้านจิตรกรรม เพื่อให้แสดงออกซึ่งอารมณ์ความรู้สึกตามแนวคิดของผู้สร้างสรรค์  โดยได้ศึกษาสิ่งมีชีวิตและระบบนิเวศของบึงบัวรูปแบบการสร้างสรรค์จิตรกรรมไทยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับบัวในอดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน  และ ผลงานของศิลปิน นำมาสร้างสรรค์ผลงานจิตรกรรมที่ได้รับแรงบัลดาลใจมาจากธรรมชาติ ผสมจินตนาการส่วนตนและเพิ่มรูปแบบลักษณะของงานจิตรกรรมไทยร่วมสมัยเข้าไปร่วมด้วยแสดงให้เห็นถึงความสุข ความอุดมสมบูรณ์  ชีวิตในบึงบัวที่มีระบบนิเวศของบึงบัว ดอกบัว ใบบัว พืชน้ำ แมลง ผีเสื้อ นกน้ำ กบ เขียด ปาด และพืชน้ำต่างๆ ที่พึ่งพาอาศัยกันในบึงบัว  ขั้นตอนการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน ประกอบด้วย 4 ขั้นตอน 1. ขั้นตอนการร่างแนวความคิดที่ได้จากการศึกษา  2. ขั้นตอนการสร้างรูปทรง เป็นการถอดแบบโครงสร้าง มาวาดเป็นโครงเส้นในลักษณะงานจิตรกรรมไทย  3. ขั้นตอนการขึ้นรูป นำภาพร่างที่สมบูรณ์มาเทียบขยายสัดส่วนบนเฟรมผ้าในขนาดของจริง   และ 4. ขั้นตอนการลงสี จะประกอบด้วย (1) ลงสีบริเวณพื้นน้ำ และพื้นหลังในผลงาน (2) ลงสีของใบบัว พื้นน้ำ และทัศนธาตุรองของผลงาน   (3) ลงสีดอกบัว และทัศนธาตุที่ต้องการเน้นจุดเด่น และ (4) การเก็บรายละเอียดเล็กๆของผลงาน

             ผลของการศึกษาและสร้างสรรค์ในครั้งนี้  ผู้สร้างสรรค์ได้นำข้อมูลมาวิเคราะห์และสร้างผลงานให้ตอบสนองตรงตามแนวความคิดส่วนตน  รวมทั้งแสดงออกถึงอารมณ์ความรู้สึกถ่ายทอดออกมาผ่านเป็นผลงานด้านจิตรกรรมจำนวน 5 ภาพ ภาพที่ 1 ขนาด 120 x 80 ซม. ภาพที่ 2 ขนาด 100 x 80 ซม.ภาพที่ 3 ขนาด 120 x 70 ซม. ภาพที่ 4 ขนาด 100 x 80 ซม. ภาพที่ 5 ขนาด 115 x 80 ซม.  และเพื่อสร้างเป็นแรงบัลดาล ให้ผู้ที่พบเห็นได้เล็งเห็นถึง คุณค่าความงาม และความสำคัญของบึงบัว

Abstract

              My thesis entitled “Life in a Lotus Pond” expresses creatures that live in a lotus pond with a reference to a two-dimensional medium namely painting with acrylic on canvas technique. The style of my paintings is of contemporary Thai art.  Inspiration of this series comes from my own past memory of the dependence of living things in the plentiful lotus pond. The paintings show various creatures relating to the pond of which shapes were used as fundamental information. The pond is composed of lotus flowers, lotus leaves, animals, and aqua plants. I arranged, developed, and applied these organic forms to create images of life in the lotus pond according to my imagination. I would like to indicate the dependences of lives especially animals and aqua plants. My past experiences and feelings were recalled during the research.  

              The scope of my study can be seen from the exploration of creative style in order to express feelings according to my thinking. I researched previous Thai art paintings by certain artists who depict living creatures and ecosystem of the lotus pond. The artists were inspired to blend the image of the lotus with their own imagination in order to express the happiness and the excellence of the lotus pond. They also depicted the ecosystem of the pond, which is composed of lotus flowers, lotus leaves, aqua plants, insects, butterflies, tiger frogs, common bush frogs, puddyfield green frogs, and aqua plants. My creative process can be divided into four steps as follows: 1. Producing sketches from original sources and information 2. Creating visual forms by depicting the structures of living things and expressing them through Thai-oriented drawing 3. Scaling up the sketches on canvas 4. Coloring by 1) staring with watering areas and backgrounds of the paintings 2) then, lotus leaves, aqua plants, and minor visual elements 3) later, lotus flowers and major visual elements that need to be emphasized 4) finally, fine details throughout the paintings.

             The results of my research and creative process can be investigated from my analysis of primary information and creative outcomes that correspond to my individual thoughts, including my feelings implied through a series of five paintings. The size of the first painting is 120 centimeters in length and 80 centimeter in width; that of the second one is 100 and 80; that of the third one is 120 and 70; that of the fourth one is 100 and 80; and that of the fifth one is 115 and 80.  The paintings inspire audiences to realize the value, the beauty, and the significance of the lotus pond.
