การวิเคราะห์เครือข่ายทางสังคมของกระแสการเดินทางไปทำงานในภูมิภาคเมืองโคราช

            การศึกษาในครั้งนี้เป็นการสาธิตให้เห็นว่าโครงสร้างตามลำดับศักดิ์ของเมืองนั้นได้เปลี่ยนแปลงไปในลักษณะการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์แบบเครือข่าย ซึ่งสะท้อนความเป็นศูนย์กลางของการแลกเปลี่ยนพึ่งพาระหว่างเมืองในแง่ของผู้คน เงินตรา และข่าวสารข้อมูล อย่างไรก็ตามในทางปฏิบัติยังไม่ค่อยมีการวินิจฉัยถึงอิทธิพลของเครือข่ายเหล่านี้ที่มีต่อการปรับตัวเชิงพื้นที่ ด้วยเหตุนี้จึงได้ทำการวิเคราะห์เชิงประจักษ์ถึงเครือข่ายตามลำดับศักดิ์ของเมืองที่มีอิทธิพลของต่อการก่อตัวระบบชุมชนในภูมิภาคเมืองโคราช โดยนำแนววิธีตามแบบแผนการวิเคราะห์เครือข่ายทางสังคมมาประยุกต์กับกรณีศึกษา โดยผลลัพธ์แสดงให้เห็นถึงศักยภาพในการอรรถาธิบายและการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลจากกระแสการเดินทางไปทำงานแบบเช้าไปเย็นกลับด้วยโปรแกรมการวิเคราะห์เครือข่ายทางสังคม

Abstract

            This study has sought to demonstrate that the structure of the urban hierarchy is fluid and has increasingly become structured by a network-based hierarchy that reflects cities’ centrality within networks of interurban exchanges of people, money, and information. Thus, this analysis closes a significant evidential gap in the literature by examining the influence of network-based urban hierarchies to structure an urban system in the Korat city region. The study also empirically shows the widely used and powerful methodological tools of social network analysis. Results show that a network-based hierarchy within the case study can be well described and analyzed of the commuting flow data via software tools of social network analysis.
