อุโบสถของวัดไทยในรัฐกลันตัน ประเทศมาเลเซีย ในสมัยรัตนโกสินทร์

บทคัดย่อ

               การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ ศึกษาความเป็นมา รูปแบบศิลปะและความสัมพันธ์ทางศิลปะของอุโบสถวัดไทยในรัฐกลันตัน ประเทศมาเลเซียในสมัยรัตนโกสินทร์

               กระบวนการวิจัยใช้การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ โดยทำการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลทั้งภาคเอกสารและภาคสนาม นำมาวิเคราะห์เปรียบเทียบรูปแบบ โดยใช้รูปแบบศิลปะไทยประเพณีเป็นเกณฑ์ รวมถึงศิลปะอื่นที่เกี่ยวข้อง

            ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ช่วงที่ 1 (พ.ศ. 2325-2451) อุโบสถมีรูปแบบผสมกับศิลปะท้องถิ่นมลายู ช่วงที่ 2 (พ.ศ. 2452-2499) อุโบสถแสดงอิทธิพลศิลปะไทยประเพณีมากขึ้น แต่ยังมีรูปแบบศิลปะมลายู จีนหรือแบบตะวันตกผสม ในช่วงที่ 3 (พ.ศ.2500-2550) อุโบสถในรัฐกลันตันเป็นอุโบสถแบบศิลปะไทยประเพณี ทั้งยังมีพัฒนาการด้านรูปแบบเหมือนกับอุโบสถในไทย

Abstract

               The propose of the research: is to study background, styles and artistic aspects of Thai ordination halls in Kelantan, Malaysia during Rattanakosin Period.

               This research is qualitative research, which has done by collecting the information from both relevant documents and field works. The information then has been analyzed and compared focusing on the styles by using the forms of Thai traditional arts and other related forms of arts as a standard.

               The result of the research can be divided into three sections. Section one (1782-1908): The artistic aspects in the ordination halls had mixed styles with local Malay arts. Section two (1909-1956): The ordination halls presented more of Thai traditional styles but slightly showed either Malay, Chinese or Western styles. Section three (1957-2007): The ordination halls indicated turned into traditional Thai styles and there were developments in styles like the ordination halls in Thailand.
