บทคัดย่อภาษาไทย

               จากการที่ข้าพเจ้าได้มองเห็นถึงความยากลำบากของชีวิตเกษตรกรชาวนา ที่ต้องดิ้นรนทุกข์ยากจากการประกอบอาชีพ ต้องประสบกับภัยพิบัติกับเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นจากธรรมชาติฤดูกาล และการเอารัดเอาเปรียบจากผู้คนที่อยู่ในฐานะที่เหนือกว่า  ข้าพเจ้าจึงได้ใช้ผืนนาที่ชาวนาใช้เป็นพื้นที่ประกอบอาชีพ บอกเรื่องราวทุกข์สุขที่เกิดขึ้นกับชาวนา ผืนนาจึงเปรียบเหมือนผิวหนังที่มีชีวิต ประสบการณ์จากกาลเวลาเหน็ดเหนื่อยแสนลำบากกว่าที่จะได้พบกับความสำเร็จ ทำให้เกิดร่องรอยขึ้นซึ่งเปรียบเสมือนบาดแผลเป็นที่บันทึกไว้ เป็นร่องรอยจากการเพาะปลูก จากรอยไถ รอยรถไถที่ขูดลาก และรอยเท้าจากคนหรือสัตว์ลงบนผืนดินที่เปียกชื้นจนกระทั้งแห้ง

            ร่องรอยบนผืนนานี้เป็นความสะเทือนใจที่สะท้อนถึงความรุนแรง ทั้งความสุข ความสำเร็จ และความเศร้าความหดหู่และสะเทือนใจ เป็นสถานการณ์บนผืนนาที่สะท้อนถึงวิถีชีวิตของชาวนา ข้าพเจ้านำมาสร้างสรรค์เป็นงานวิทยานิพนธ์โดยผ่านกระบวนการภาพพิมพ์แกะไม้(Woodcut) เพื่อให้กระบวนการ รุนแรงของการแกะไม้และการพิมพ์ทับด้วยความหยาบของสี ได้สะท้อนความรู้สึกสะเทือนใจที่ข้าพเจ้าต้องการ
