การพัฒนาแบบฝึกเสริมทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษจากนิทานอาเซียนโดยใช้กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ Storyline สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โรงเรียนบ้านเป้า (สำราญไชยวิทยา) จังหวัดชัยภูมิ

Abstract

บทคัดย่อ

            การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงทดลอง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ1) พัฒนาและหาประสิทธิภาพของแบบ           ฝึกเสริมทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษจากนิทานอาเซียนโดยใช้กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ Storyline 2) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนก่อนและหลังการเรียนโดยใช้แบบฝึกเสริมทักษะการอ่านและ  3) ศึกษาความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนที่มีต่อแบบฝึกเสริมทักษะการอ่าน กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6/1 โรงเรียนบ้านเป้า (สำราญไชยวิทยา) ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2557 จำนวน 30 คน ได้มาจากการสุ่มอย่างง่าย เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบฝึกเสริมทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษจากนิทานอาเซียนโดยใช้กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้  Storyline แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษก่อนและหลังการทดลอง    และแบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนที่มีต่อแบบฝึกเสริมทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษจากนิทานอาเซียนโดยใช้กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้Storyline สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ()ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.) และการทดสอบค่า (t-test)  แบบ dependent            

            ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

                1.  ประสิทธิภาพของแบบฝึกเสริมทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษจากนิทานอาเซียนโดยใช้กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้  Storyline  มีค่าเท่ากับ 76.08/80.41

                2.  ความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนหลังการเรียนโดยใช้แบบฝึกเสริมการอ่านสูงกว่าก่อนการใช้แบบฝึกเสริมทักษะการอ่านอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

                3.  นักเรียนมีความคิดเห็นที่ดีต่อแบบฝึกเสริมทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษจากนิทานอาเซียนโดยใช้กิจกรรมการเรียนรู้  Storyline ที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น 

Abstract

            The purposes of this experimental research were to: 1) develop and test the efficiency of the English reading exercises based on Asian folktales through the storyline method for Prathomsuksa sixth students, 2) compare students’ English reading ability before and after using the reading exercises, and 3) study students’ opinions toward the exercises.  The sample used for the study consisted of thirty Prathomsuksa 6/1 students at Banpao (Samranchaiwittaya) School in the 2^nd semester of the academic year 2014. The students randomly selected. The research instruments were reading exercises based on Asian folktales through the storyline method and lesson plans, a reading proficiency test used as a pretest and posttest, and a questionnaire surveying students’ opinions on the English reading exercises. The data were analyzed by mean (), standard deviation (S.D.), and t-test dependent.

            The results of the research were as follows:

                1.  The percentages of 76.08/80.41, scores resulting from the pretest and the posttest, indicated that the efficiency of the eight English reading exercises based on Asian folktales through the storyline method was higher than the hypothetical criterion.

                2.  The students’ English reading ability after using the English reading exercises were significantly higher than the ability before using the English reading exercises at the .05 level.

                 3.  The students’ opinions toward the English reading exercises were highly positive.
