การผ่าตัดนำฟันเกินฝังในโพรงอากาศขากรรไกรบนออกด้วยวิธีเปิดฝากระดูก: รายงานผู้ป่วย 1 ราย

บทคัดย่อ
ฟันเกินที่ขึ้นผิดตำแหน่งนอกเหนือจากบริเวณส่วนโค้งของขากรรไกร เช่น ฟันเกินที่อยู่ในโพรงอากาศขากรรไกรบนอาจก่อให้เกิดพยาธิสภาพอื่นตามมาได้ เช่น การเกิดถุงน้ำ เนื้องอก และโพรงอากาศขากรรไกรบนอักเสบ การผ่าตัดนำฟันเกินออกจากบริเวณโพรงอากาศขากรรไกรบนสามารถทำาได้หลายวิธี วิธีเปิดฝากระดูกเป็นวิธีหนึ่งที่เข้าทำการรักษาผ่านทางแอ่งฟันเขี้ยวเพื่อเข้าไปยังโพรงอากาศขากรรไกรบน หลังจากนำฟันเกินออกจึงนำฝากระดูกกลับเข้าตำราแหน่งเดิมและทำการเย็บตรึงกระดูก ข้อดีของวิธีนี้ คือช่วยป้องกันการสูญเสียกระดูกและลดความวิการของกระดูกขากรรไกรบนได้
รายงานผู้ป่วยนี้นำเสนอผู้ป่วยชายไทย 1 รายที่มีฟันเกินฝังในโพรงอากาศกระดูกขากรรไกรบนขวาซึ่งตรวจพบโดยบังเอิญจากภาพรังสี ผู้ป่วยไม่ต้องการมีฟันเกินฝังในบริเวณดังกล่าวเนื่องจากเกรงว่าจะทำให้เกิดรอยโรคในอนาคต ผู้ป่วยได้รับการรักษาด้วยวิธีเปิดฝากระดูก ผลการรักษาสำเร็จด้วยดีไม่มีภาวะแทรกซ้อน หลังติดตามผลการรักษาผู้ป่วยรายนี้เป็นระยะเวลา 1 ปี พบกระบวนการซ่อมแซมของกระดูกในบริเวณที่ทำการรักษาจากภาพรังสีส่วนตัดอาศัย
