บทคัดย่อ

 

This descriptive research aimed to explore the Quality of Life (QOL) of diabetic patients type 2 with chronic diabetic wounds, admitted at Surgical Ward, Udonthani Hospital in 2017. There are physical health, psychological, social relationship and environment. The validated WHOQOL – BREF-THAI assessment tool was conducted with  30 diabetic patients type 2.  The questionnaire was devided in 2 sections. The first section was general information that consisted 13 checklist items. The second section was quality of life questionnaire (WHOQOL – BREF-THAI) consisted of    26 items.  The major descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation were calculated by SPSS. The results showed that The average mean score for all items of QOL for diabetic patients type 2 was medium level (x ̅= 86.55 , S.D. =11.55). In addition, the average mean score for each domain  was medium level. There are followings;  physical health domain (x ̅= 19.95 , S.D. =5.69), Psychological domain (x ̅= 21.05 , S.D. =3.53), social relationship domain   (x ̅= 11 , S.D. =2.58), and environment domain (x ̅= 28.65 ,S.D. =3.84). This research provided  broad information for chronic patients that need to be improved quality of life suit their context and meet their needs.
