Abstract

Abstract

            This research was research and development. The objective of study the effect of  using the core process of emergency patient triaged by register nurses in emergency room.  Two groups of purposive sampling were selected:1) 32 registered nurses working at emergency room. 2) 700 medical records  Tools used in this study consisted of 1) Form for recording the results of the implementation of the core process of emergency patient triaged Knowledge and Skills Examination Form for Emergency patient triaged a record form for using emergency patient triaged criteria. The research tool was examined for content validity by three experts. The content validity index was at 0.96. The knowledge and skills test was used to determine the confidence value according to the Kuder-Richardson formula (KR.-20) with values of 0.98 and 0.88. can be used with the sample group, Data were analyzed using descriptive and statistical Paired samples test.

          As for the results of the study on nurse in one pre- and post-experiment, it was found that comparing the level of knowledge and skill for using the core process of emergency patient triaged by register nurses in emergency room. It was found that after using the core process of emergency patient triaged. Additionally, compared with pre- and post-usage of model, were significantly different (p < .05) and higher than the pre-test. Patient outcomes showed that after using the model, it was better than before.
