Abstract

The objective was to study quality of life among cervical cancer patients, Udonthani Cancer Hospital.  The samples were 113 caregivers.  The instrument was short form questionnaire for quality of Life (WHOQOL-THAI). The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The finding revealed that majority of cervical cancer patients was farmers (61.76%), in the age average 51 years old, education at the primary level (75.2%), and married (69.0%). Most of cervical cancer patients had average income 56,410 baht per year. Treated 1-2 times (79.5%), the 3 most common symptoms are: 1) Anorexia (54.0%) relieves by eating a small amount of various supplements, 2) fatigue (42.5%) relieves by resting, 3) Pain (39.8%) relieve by relaxing, chanting, relaxing massage and giving painkillers.

Satisfied with their health at high level. Quality of life according to the patient's feelings at high level. The overall quality of life at high level include 4 aspects: 1) health at moderated level, 2) mind at high level, 3) social relationships at moderated level, and 4) environment at moderated level.
