Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the effect of developing a one-day surgery system to the satisfaction of users at Buengkan Hospital. The sample consisted of 30 patients who had surgery for inguinal hernia, hemorrhoids, Endoscope of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract during March 1 ,2018 - August 31, 2018.  The instrument was questionnaires for one day surgery satisfaction (IOC = 0.91,   r = 0.87). Data were analyzed by descriptive statistic (mean, percentage, standard deviation). The results showed that the satisfaction overall was the highest level. ( =4.3), the satisfaction was the highest level ( =4.5)  that was the explanation of the steps of the  surgery procedure, risk of complications that can occur with the use of surgery and the result of satisfaction that received the lowest scoring average is the confidence in self- care after surgery. ( =3.9)
