Factors Related to participation management of register nurses in the hospital quality improvement at Wanonniwas Hospital,Sakon Nakhon Province. Nursing Department of Wanonniwas Hospital.

Abstract

This descriptive research was aimed to explore the factors related to participation management of register nurses in the hospital quality improvement at Wanonniwas Hospital. The participants were 107 register nurses who worked at Wanonniwas Hospital. The data were collected during the month of January, 2020. The research instrument was a questionnaire including 6 parts; 1) personnel’s information, 2) attitude, 3) perception, 4) knowledge, 5) support from leader of organization, 6) participation management. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics comprising frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The sample correlation was analyzed by Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. Result showed; majority of the respondents were female (91.6%), the aged group between 20–29 year (43.0 %, =38.86, S.D.=9.19, Max=57, Min=23 ) status single (50.5%), with education level at bachelor’s degree (93.5%), working experienced less than 10 years (65.4%, =9.38,S.D.=8.74, Max=35, Min=1), and position was worker (81.3%). Factors related to participation management found that the attitude factor were lower significantly (r=0.438, p=0.000), perception factor were significantly at the moderate level (r=0.535, p=0.000), knowledge factor were lower significantly (r=0.201, p=0.038) and support from leader of organization factor were significantly correlated at the high level (r=0.715, p=0.000).

Conclusion: The study showed successful of participation management of register nurses in the hospital quality improvement at Wanonniwas Hospital.

Suggestions: Leader should be support participant over all the department of the hospital that is effective of quality development of the hospital.
