first of four questionnaires was tested by using Cronbach’s alpha yielding values of 0.96,0.89, and 0.77, respectively. Data were collected from January to March 2020. The data was analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

The results show that the average of subjects was 57.48 ±11.08 years, most of them were female 77.50 % and all were Buddhist. Most of Stroke patients have had high score of Barthel index score (90%). Most family relationships were good ( 3.07, SD=0.41) and low level of stress ( 3.07, SD=0.41) .

The findings can be used for set program for the high level of stress caregiving among primary caregivers of dependent stroke patients who had Barthel ADL Index ≤ 4 as to reduce caregivers stress.
