Participatory Process for Traffic Accidents Prevention among Village Health Volunteers in Si That District, Udon Thani Province.

The action research purposes were to explore and to compare the participatory process for traffic accidents prevention among village health volunteers in Si That District, Udon Thani Province, before and after study. The samples were 30 village health volunteers who experienced in traffic accidents prevention in Si That District, Udon Thani Province. The quantitative data were collected using the questionnaires (CVI = 1, Reliability = .87) and were analyzed using descriptive statistics, paired t-test. The qualitative data were collected using the opened-end questions and were analyzed using content analysis.
The study found that the average score of participatory process, before and after study, shown that the participation in decision making, the participation in actions, and the participation in taking advantages were .01 statistically differently. The participatory process for traffic accidents prevention among village health volunteers in Si That District, Udon Thani Province, could construct the effective activities for improving the participation among community leaders to care the health of community members continuously.
