Introduction:
The Ministry of Public Health have the goals of fostering good health among the population, ensuring happiness among healthcare personnel, and creating a sustainable health system. For individuals to achieve good health, it is essential that they adopt proper health behaviors, Health Promotion behaviors consistent of activities undertaken to enhance well-being and help individuals, communities and society reach their life goals.
Research Objectives:
The study the level of health promotion factors of Village Health Volunteers. The study the level of health behaviors of Village Health Volunteers. The study the factors influencing health promotion behaviors of Village Health Volunteers in the Service Area of Subdistrict Health Promotion Hospital in Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province.
Research Methodology:
This research is a descriptive study. The population and sample consist of Village Health Volunteers in the Service Area of Subdistrict Health Promotion Hospital in Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province a total of 124 people.
Research Results:
Personal factor: It was that female 85.5% ages most of whom were between 60-69 years old 37.90% The majority had completed primary education 53.20% were married 53.20% The duration of being a Village Health Volunteer for 11-20 years 26.61% Additionally, 75% had a chronic illness. Health promotion factors were at a high level, while health promotion behaviors were a moderate level.
Conclusion:
Factors influencing health promotion behaviors are Age Education The duration of being a Village Health Volunteer Chronic illness Health promotion factors are Perceived benefits Perceived barriers Self-efficacy.
Suggestions:
Provide opportunities for Village Health Volunteers to discuss and share opinions in order to identify barriers and Enhance the awareness of benefits and Self-efficacy.
