Abstract

Abstract

          Introduction: The severe sepsis or septic shock is resulting in mortality rate. The development of system care for sepsis by follow the concept Six Bundle Sepsis can decrease mortality rate.

          Research objective:  1) Review the situation, incident of system care for sepsis

2) Development of system care for sepsis 3) Comparative study before and after using the system care for sepsis 4) Comparative study before and after about septic shock rate and mortality rate.

          Research Methodology: The framework was applied by concept Six Bundle Sepsis from the Thai Society of Critical Care Medicine. The development was divided Research and Development. The sample by purposive sampling are 30 Doctor and nurse and 42 Sepsis patient. Research Instrument is 1)  The system care for sepsis 2) Medical Record Data Collection Form 3) The questionnaire for focus group. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and Independent t-test.

Results: 1) The septic shock is decrease from 23.81 percent to 9.50 percent but not significant level 0.05. 2) Mortality rate is decrease from 9.52  percent to 0 percent and significant level 0.05.

          Conclusion: The development of system care for sepsis have an effect to quick diagnosis and patients received standard treatment that reduce mortality rate of sepsis.

          Implication: Should be follow up the system care for sepsis every 3 months for monitoring and reduce mortality rates
